I was incredibly happy with my choice of accommodation during my recent trip to Bangkok - P9 Ratchada Hotel. Compared to the bustling Khao San Road, the atmosphere here was much more relaxing, making it the perfect place to recover from jet lag.
It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Amenities like towels, water, body wash, shampoo, and a delicious breakfast were all included. Housekeeping was even provided a couple of times during my stay! The entire place was impeccably clean and comfortable.
The staff were incredibly friendly and I had the opportunity to meet some interesting people, even though it's not a hostel known for its social scene. My private room offered excellent value for money. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Bangkok!
The only minor drawback is the location - it's about a 40-minute metro ride from the main tourist areas downtown. However, it's a direct line with no transfers required, and the station is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
